A*Phi on FOX News Channel "College Challenge"

I just wanted to let you all know that Tracy Watler, an A*Phi from Omega (UT-Austin) is going to be on the Fox News Network on Monday. She along with two of her fellow broadcast news students at from KVR News 9 won the Fox News College Challenge so they’ll be in New York City this weekend and will appear on "Dayside with Linda Vester" from 12-1pm on Monday, April 11. So if you can watch, she'd greatly appreciate it!

Fox News Channel, the #1 cable news channel in America, is excited to introduce a nationwide contest for undergraduate broadcast journalism students called the "Fox News Channel College Challenge". The competition's mission is to recognize, encourage and support excellence in broadcast journalism in America's colleges and universities. The "Fox News Channel College Challenge" requires teams of two to four students (juniors and seniors only) majoring in broadcast journalism or an equivalent, to research, write, produce and submit an objective broadcast news story from the list of topics provided.
