What do you drive now? I’m asking because you might want to wait before you trade it in. New and used cars are marked up crazy high now. But if it’s a situation where you don’t want to wait, you might as well (unfortunately) go electric, since that’s going to be the new transportation norm.

I’m due. It’s a 2008 VW Passat and it’s killing me with maintenance costs. I’m long overdue for a new car. I’ll just have to pay the heavy markup. When I see more charging stations, then I’ll consider an electric car. In my neck of the woods, I’ve only seen around two or three charging stations so far. I’m just looking for something basic and reliable to get me from point A to point B.

Phroz, I won’t tell you which particular car to choose because your taste is probably a lot different from mine. However, I can give you some brands that I think would fall in line with what you might be looking for. Check out Mazda, Honda, Toyota, and since you have a VW, it wouldn’t hurt to see new products they have to offer as well. I have a Subaru WRX STi, and I love it. Check out Subaru too. You might like what they have to offer.

Stay away from Hyundai/Kia. They make good cars, but the problem with them is they get stolen a lot, Kias especially — more than most other vehicles. I’m curious to know what you’ve narrowed your search to, so feel free to post it.

My voice is naturally raspy, I don’t know why, it just always has been the natural sound of my voice. But whenever I get sick and later get better, on top of the natural sound of my voice, then it’s like completely gone like it is now. I want my voice back.

^^^No, I’m not sick anymore. This is just like the aftermath of whatever it was that I had. Because of it, my voice is gone, plus, I had a sinus infection with it so now when I blow my nose, what comes out is like TMI gross.
