Phi Sigma Kappa has closed its chapter at University of Illinois. According to their website, the chapter officers had knowledge of drugs being sold out of the fraternity house (similar to San Diego State).

On May 3, 2008, Zeta Psi became the first Intercontinental Fraternity with the Chartering of the Iota Omicron Chapter at Oxford University!
On April 26, 2008 Zeta Psi again returned to the University of Texas with the initiation of 22 fine young men.
Zeta Psi's Interest Groups at Georgetown University (DC) and Univ. of Cal. at Riverside (CA) have met or exceeded 20 men and will be applying for Colony Status at Convention!
12 man interest group at Brock University in Canada (our defunct Zeta Chi) and a 10-man Interest Group at the Univ. of Monash in Melbourne, Australia.

Pi Kappa Alpha Expansion
Although we are currently recharted at Texas A&M University Commerce we will not be recognized by the University or IFC until 2011 as part of the stipulations in us getting kicked off campus and having our original charter revoked.
Consequentially this hurts our numbers by not being able to participate in TAMU-Commerce greek life. We can't even wear our letters on campus as part of the stipulation.
I pledged in 2006 and was part of the last pledge class to go through and I honestly feel we won't have a chapter by 2011, much less be a shadow of what we once were. This is all due partly to the poor decisions our chapter made in Fall of 06.

KSU Violet might be able to help me out on this. I heard that Kent State is considering another sorority in 2010. The local closed this year and Panhellenic is determining if they should raise chapter total from 90 to 100 or open it up to another chapter.
Would love to see Alpha Gamma Delta recolonize.

This is purely speculation at this point. There have been expansion whispers going on since I was a junior. They are looking into the raising of total, but I am not sure if that will actually happen, since there are groups not at total right now.
