Repetitive threads...

Hello everyone!

I love visiting this forum, however I'm noticing that there are little to no new threads in this section, but instead the same 4-5 old threads being bumped. i always want to come and start a new topic but then i stop and think about the "please do a search for any topic/thread before you start a new one", then realize the topic has been done already (sometimes even years ago)

i think this is why there arent any new topics...which kinda sucks. is this bothering anyone else?

My preference is any topic two years or newer should be continued in the thread. Topics older than two years should get a new thread. This will avoid folx responding to a post that is three-plus years old as if it was yesterday.

Most of us frequent other boards, too. And the activity of any board increases the more controversial the topic. GC tries not to be too controversial and the mods will lock or delete threads that become so. So in a way, GC is a place to calm down after visiting other boards.
