Alpha Phi needs a presence in the SOUTH. Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida - it's rather embarasing that in 2008 that Alpha Phi is not in the SOUTH!

Embarassing? Hardly. I'd say Alpha Phi's upcoming colonizations at Georgia Tech and Alabama are wonderful accomplishments. Y'all are on fire in the South.
Keep in mind that campuses can't open up and add another sorority if there's no need for one.

Obviously we are interested in the south but things don't just happen overnight. We do have 2 colonies in the south right now (Georgia and Alabama).

I'd say that fact that we got chosen at both Alabama and Georgia Tech shows strength and is a big accomplishment. I'm very excited about both of these colonies. And we also have quite a strong alumnae base in the south too.

I would love for Alpha Phi to return to my alma mater, University of Houston, someday.

Agreed, and if they ever needed Alumni help, shout my way. I love this campus and since I'm not in the SEC, I would say Georgia too. Both awesome places to host a house.

I was down at A&M the last year they did formal recruitment, hoping to help boost numbers. I think the Greek system there has shifted so much in the last 10 years, that now would be a great time to do it, since sororites there are getting so much bigger, and since a lot more folks are rushing there. I'm with on that. I'd like to see TAMU rebuilt.
