Delta Phi Epsilon

Delta Zeta

Gamma Phi Beta

I'd never seen a Gamma Phi Beta Pin like this before, so it was quite a find!

Just some badges I've come across online. Not sure if they've been posted here before, but enjoy!

And a badge ring:

I think that every campus with a Tau Beta Pi chapter has a bent on display.
The bent is the shape of a bridge trestle. I learned all about it from TBP's online handbook, which you can read here:

Re: the Gamma Phi Beta badge that mshudec posted (the last one, that was described as "quite a find") studying that photo closely suggested to me and a few others that that is a Pollack badge. The gold has a very crude appearance. The pearls are set unevenly and overall it is of poor quality. Look at the lower part of the phi - it hasn't even been polished out. Yikes!

Pollack Theta badges are easy to spot for the same reasons, plus there is a pearl on one side (I think it's the upper left) that is set so wacky that it leans in. This is from the die or cast, I believe. At one time I had a picture of a Pollack badge that had PINK pearls. Yes it had the crooked pearl. It was … well, okay, you know what I am about to say.

Pollack is no longer making fraternity jewelry, to the best of my knowledge.

AST, you gave me a heart attack this morning with that Kappa Sigma badge. Sheesh!

I can't find the pink pearl badge, but I remember it. However, this one has a wonky pearl, is this what you speak of?

Yes, please, I'd like a washer with teeth attached to my fraternal badge

I prefer to think of it as a fraternal gear, personally. Maybe the founders of Gamma Phi were really into heavy machinery?

To me it looks like a repair job to replace a missing Phi was done at Bubba's Bargain Basement Jewelry Repair, Hardware, and Bait Shop. It's really buggered up.

My Panhellenic Gamma Phi sisters may correct me, but I believe their founders went to Tiffany for their badges. Didn't Tiffany design them?

I do believe you are right. Tiffany's would be embarrassed.

It was quite a find in that I've never seen one like that. Poor quality or not, the Gamma Phi's at my campus were very excited to see it, because it is so unusual.

I appreciate the information on it being a Pollack badge though, that might be helpful to know as I try to track down the history behind the badge.

The Founders' original Gamma Phi Beta badges were made by Tiffany's, but I recall that input was given to Tiffany's toward the design.

What's the year on it? I've heard lot of pins made either during the Depression or WWII sometimes went wonky.

Kappa Alpha Theta -

Kappa Kappa Gamma - I think this one is just beautiful in its simplicity.

Phi Mu - A few of them ;-)

'84. lol. But thanks! I'm going to clean it up a bit and see if that helps it at all. I'll probably take a comparison with the modern gamma phi pin I have to show the differences. :-)
