Did they hit on her or just check her out? If it's the latter, I'd say you need to get over it (I don't mean for that to sound as harsh as it does, btw). But really, if a woman is attractive, guys are naturally going to look. Hell, if a woman is attractive, even I might do a double-take. It's a natural human reaction.

Just be happy that you're the one who gets to go home with the super sexy woman

In a one week period I will have had dates with an SAE, a Sigma Chi and a Phi Delt. My 19 year old self would never believe it.

The SAE was a quick coffee on Friday morning before work. The Sigma Chi is brunch today. The Phi Delt is later in the week and tbd. I'm most excited for the one that was planned a week out and isn't confirmed yet. But I'm glad I'm finally getting better quality guys.

Yay! What do you think happened? Did it just become easier to pick out who the crap guys were?

How soon did Greek life come up in the dates (or correspondence)? I ask because I think it was a couple weeks until I knew what my now fiancé is in terms of affiliation. It was definitely just a college thing for him so if someone is still involved it likely comes up earlier.

I'm not exactly sure what happened but after one remarkably bad date I said that's it. No more being open to guys who don't check all the boxes in advance. And then better guys started popping up.

In the case of the Phi Delt it turns out we both went to Iowa. So going through the history it came up. In trying to find time for a second date the SAE said he had a fraternity rush event at the Royals game, so I asked. The Sigma Chi and I were drinking heavily at a friend's house and he was regaling us with stories about being incredibly gay and having a variety of leadership roles on campus. So to be pristinely clear, he's on target for best friend status, not boyfriend status. But he's hysterical. And we went to brunch on Sunday.

You and I are >HERE<. I struggled with that for years -- still struggle with it to a degree. I've learned to not let it bother me like it once did, though. As long as they don't touch her or say anything that I find inappropriate to her, I'm good. The flip side of that coin will lead me to clown! I hear you, Phroz. You'll learn to ignore it better with time.

WORD! I almost did clown once. I started to asked this one dude who kept gawking if he had an eye problem. The only reason why I didn't was because my girl grabbed my arm and told me not to. It's disrespectful as hell! But, like my frat said, being in a relationship with foine attracts assholes.

Like the hose on a vacuum cleaner

Kissing you is like kissing the hose on the vacuum cleaner; you both open up and suck.
Only the hose on the hose is better.
At least, I can move the hose around.
Not that I have tried.

Well, after 6 years together Mr. KDR and I have split. After 2.5 years of living together, he has decided that he wants to commit his life to rock climbing. In 6 days, I found a place to live, completely packed what was mine, and have moved out.

I am sad that we're over but I do not regret that we happened.

Thanks, txAOII. I have been surrounded by friends, family, and SAI sisters since the day after it happened. It has overwhelmed me with gratefulness.

I have the biggest job interview of my life - read: Dream Job 2.0 - later this week, so I am staying with an SAI sister for her internet since mine can't be hooked up until Feb. 9. Sisterhood really is for life.
