AEPhi has always had the same badge, with 27 pearls and yellow gold. No customization allowed, other than the sister's initials on the back of the yellow gold bar connecting the letters, and an optional chapter guard (which must also be yellow gold and set with pearls).
I wouldn't go in for opals even if they were an option, but I wish we had a white gold option. (Oh, have I mentioned this upthread? Perhaps a few dozen times? )

Was that really necessary? I would be appreciative if someone rescued a unique badge from my organization at a fair price and offered it at the rescue price if I was unable to catch it in time.

Excuse me? I'm not sure what issue you have with me. I think I've even bought a badge from you before. Is it because I'm generally well liked on this site? Is it that I don't go around buying other groups' precious historic badges then try to sell them back for exorbitant prices, expecting people to thank me for it? Am I supposed to act more like you? A greedy, self serving person who is angry when others are decent human beings?

Situational irony, anyone?

I was advocating for the garnet and aquamarine badge with my daughter, because I also liked the fact that they're Pi Phi colors, but she wanted something more simple and opted for the single diamond in the arrowhead.
That turquoise badge is stunning!

He's probably upset because you got to that badge first. Lol.

While Delta Zeta does not allow opals on the badge itself (or any customization other than cz or diamond in the lamp flame), we could get opals on the chapter guard.

No, I only go after the old 1800s items. Anything newer than that I have no interest in ither than pictures for my Bairds project. The whole issue was that years ago it seemed that posting things about rescuing something and offering it openly to GC was against the rules....that sort of thing was to be left in the PM realm....
Others were banned for such postings....

I'm sorry you got banned from GC for trying to profit off of GLO members who have a sincere interest in preserving the significance of their badge and the history of their GLOs.

That's an interesting option that I've not heard before!

There's more to it than that. Love the equivocating. Still having challenges with honesty and punctuation, as we see.

That's a start. You forgot "multiple times". Sorry I'm not sorry.
He has to have the last word. Wait for it.

I was NEVER profiting off of this...EVER!
The project and the passion I have for collecting history of groups to try and recreate a new Bairds Manual has cost me.

Really? You only buy 1880s badges? I know for a fact that isn't true.
