wait, what?
I *think* you might want to re-read the press release. Closure of the chapter has nothing to do with RFM. I'm so sorry for Tri Delta. We all hate to see any chapter close for any reason.

Sacred Heart University is open for extension, per Twitter Sorority Extension.

If so, the closure is not due to RMF, or RFM as AZTheta mentions.

My bad. I was using the term as a way of saying that less people have been joining the chapter over the years. This was in no way had to do with actual RFM. It's also sad to see a lot of chapters closing out west in recent times.

Please don't use terms incorrectly. You are fairly new and it would behoove you to not put your own spin on things that you don't fully understand. Say what you mean; it will save a lot of confusion and you won't look foolish or misinformed. This may seem harsh; I've kept silent on your past errors, and now I'm saying "don't. just don't".
Tri Delta has closed four chapters out west in the past few years (Arizona, UCLA, UCSB, and now LMU) because of low membership numbers. The press releases state that fact clearly. That has zero to do with RFM, which is designed to benefit chapters with low numbers. And risk management hasn't been an issue, either (letting Golden Anchor and others know). These closures are personal to me, and to many Tri Delta alumnae and actives as well as to other Panhellenic women. Let's stick to facts.
No need to reply. Just take the advice and move forward.

I should have clarified in my comment, I apologize for any confusion! I wasn’t suggesting it was related to risk management, I was just trying to determine if that was what Cookiez17 meant by RFM, since RMF is a common abbreviation in this thread. (To try and correct that misrepresentation because the link clearly indicates it was not a risk issue). Thank you for the clarification AZTheta!

I agree wholeheartedly with this. Chapters close each year and the reasons for closing are never taken lightly or without a lot of consideration. Some orgs do provide a press release explaining why.
I remember a while back one of the mods had asked a poster for a reference to some information that was posted. When in doubt and you have a link to a reputable source just leave it as such. People can read should they want to click on the link for more info.

Golden Anchor, we're good. Wasn't intending to call you out. Just clarifying for all the lurkers and non-members. One click on the link and the reader will learn that there's no way these closures were Risk Management issues. Not a single one. The UCSB chapter is very personal to me (google Elliot Rodger, *shudder* and may those women and men rest in peace). So is the Arizona chapter closure, as I've written in past posts.
andthen, well put. Thanks
onward.

Thanks, dukedg. I'd spaced out UOP. For some reason I seem to ignore Stockton.
That makes five. I don't like it.
