About 2 weeks ago, I was in the Santa Ynez Valley with my boyfriend, taking a little wine tasting tour. We went to the Gainey vineyard, and were the only ones there. So while this girl was pouring our wine, we started chatting. She had a bit of a southern accent, so my boyfriend asked where she was from. She said Mississippi. He then asked if she was from Tupelo, random, I know. She said she was from Oxford, and my boyfriend asked if she went to Ole Miss. She said yes, and then he just randomly asks if she was a KD there. And she said YES! How funny that of all places, I would run into a KD from Ole Miss in southern CA while I was on vacation.
P.S. And no, it was not Brandi Saia.

I was driving home from the library the other day and the car in front of me was from my college and had tri sigma letters on it and also was from this county. It was strange since it was a man driving. I looked on the webpage and there are only 3 of us here from that chapter and I know all of them.

I was at a beach bar in the Bahamas with my family, wearing my letters (not drinking, promise!!!) and an older woman came up to me, flashed me with some Delta fingers, and said, "I'm a Tri Delt, too!" Very cool that I ran into a fellow Delta in the Bahamas.

When I was at orientation the other day, I saw a woman with a Delta Sigma Theta bag, and another woman wearing a Sigma Gamma Rho shirt

This reminds me of the Theta Tau letters on the side of the old train station in Detroit. I know which chapter did it, but HOW they got up there is beyond me. Then again, I'm not sure how all the homeless crackheads got up there either.

on my drive to Cali the weekend before last, i saw a Pi Kappa Phi license plate frame on the I-5 in Seattle
This week: I saw an Alpha Kappa Alpha frame on the highway near Berkeley and an Alpha Phi Omega frame on the 580 near Dublin, CA

today in the Time Warner Center in Columbus Circle, i saw a girl in a KATheta sweatshirt.
then i got on the C train to see an Omega Psi Phi man.

Went to an Alumnae Panhellenic gathering Sunday and met a Phi Mu..her daughter pledged my chapter a few years ago but dropped out soon after.

Saw an AOPi car in Atlantic Station in Atlanta yesterday, plus some DST and AKA plates and a Phi Beta Sigma flyer in Kennesaw.

Found out that I have a KD sister at my school where I teach and discovered that a new friend of DH and mine was a Pi Phi at Auburn in '86
