Exclamation *Important NPC & NPHC question*

hey, i am wondering if someone becomes a member of a NPC (National Panhellenic Conference) sorority, for example Delta Zeta and you actually become a member, but for whatever reason you drop your letters and are no longera amemember or affiliated with the organization ARE YOU THEN ALLOWED to join an NPHC (National Pan-Hellenic Council) sorority, for example Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.?

i would really apppreciate any and all feedback!!!!!!!!

Exclamation I thinks so...

If there are truly no ties holding you to the other group it may well be "technically" viable for you to do that. However, I must insist that such action is highly irregular and completely inappropriate. Be prepared for the CONTROVERSY such actions can generate.

Best wishes.

I recall this question coming up several times over the years. There's no actual agreement beteween NPC and NPHC to keep it from happening. Individually the four NPHC sororities make their decision. I do remember that at least two of the groups was a definite no and one was yes. I don't recall if the answer was given for the fourth group. If you search hard enough with the search function you might find the old threads.

That's why I don't know why people are even taking the time to put effort in their responses to the OP.

It's just so much easier to say NO. Even though I'm smelling a hit-and-run, I hope the OP realizes this.
