I am currently reading EJD's new book "The Other Woman" - it's pretty good.

You did, I liked Sex Chronicles I.
I have read bits and pieces of Addicted, but right now I don't have the money to buy it and it seems like folks I know who have the book have been very stingy with it since it came out three years ago.

I think I'm going to find the book about the APF_HIM, or Sex Chronicles II. I'll let you know what I come up with.

Trust me, "Addicted" picks up DRASTICALLY in the last 1/3 of the book! If you get your hands on it, read it all the way through. That will tell you why they are being so stingy

ADDICTED was my first book by Zane and I thought it was just okay. I've read better books. I've heard some of you say that it was better than Sex Chronicles I and II...should I even buy those then?

The Coldest Winter Ever is an EXCELLENT book! You should enjoy it from beginning to end.

I read "The Other Woman" in 3 days. It was a good book, the ending was predictable however. Loved the "The Coldest Winter Ever." Sista Souljah came to my school last year, and said that she was working on the script for the movie. I would love to see how that comes out. I am looking forward to reading Omar's new one, have heard good things about it thus far.

Soror you thought the ending was predictable? WOW! I did not see it coming in terms of the scene in front of the restaurant.

I read non-stop during the summer. I can easily read a book in a day, especially since I started summer vacation last Thursday. I just finished a Pearl Cleage book yestersay. I read What Looks Like Crazy on an Ordinary day a little while ago, and I LOVED it!
I read her I Wish I Had A Red Dress. THE BOOK WAS EXCELLENT! I was so touched by her words and the ideas that she wrote. You feel like I learned from her books.

Cool

Since I finished reading the book of PLD's poetry, I've read Friends and Lovers by EJD and Tar Baby by Toni Morrison. I really liked the first book, but the second book was kinda confusing at the end and I didn't get it too much. Soon, I'll be reading You Get Past The Tears by Hydeia Broadbent and her mother, Patricia Broadbent. I'll let you guys know how it is.

I did not know that some of the things that were going on with him were actually going on. I highly suggest that those who are going to read the memoir pick up the first two books as well Invinsible Life & Just As I Am
I'm wondering how you read the book already. I thought the release was pushed back until next week. Or were you using some of your connections to read the book?

ETA: Never mind. I just read your post in the DST forum.
