The Amazing Race Season 32: One Million Miles

Starting tonight on CBS, 9pm Eastern time. Filmed pre-Covid19. The series finally crosses the one million miles traveled/raced mark. If you've ever been a fan, this may be the one to watch. Enjoy!

Lovely to be viewing this show once again! Hadn't watched since the deaf man and his mother competed a second time.

When Hung slipped on the finish mat last night I flashed back to the end of 2006 LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon, where winner Robert Cheruiyot of Kenya slipped on the slick promotional decal laid on the ground at the finish line. Guess we know where the person with the dumb 2006 promo idea moved after they were fired.

This is the point where I finally feel like I'm getting to know the teams and can tell them apart! Some teams are really cut throat. I didn't think that one U-Turn was necessary.

Coming to the home stretch! Final two episodes for this season scheduled to be shown Wednesday, December 9 and Wednesday, December 16.

Have you a favorite team?

What are your overall impressions of the show?

It feels like it's gone by really fast. No favorite team necessarily. The fact that they were all in alliance early on makes it interesting now. it felt less gimicky this time and I'm glad for that.

Fast it has gone

The age of the original filming (two years ago!) most likely gave CBS less incentive to stretch this season out.

Every team I liked this year has eventually been eliminated, so no favorites here going into last two weeks.

Well, fudge. Forgot the finale was yesterday. Heard it ended in New Orleans. Have to watch it online sometime soon.

Paging aephialum: Didn't you once mention you saw this finale being taped back in 2018 in New Orleans? Or was that someone else from greekchat that lives in N.O.?
