No, they are keeping the facade of the house, but the house itself was torn down after school in May. They will be ready for 2018 rush. They have taken over an apartment complex off campus for the 2017-18 year. I believe they are using the Pike house for rush.

Chi Omega also used our house for rush while their house was being remodeled.

I have never been inside the Pike house, but when we were touring the campus before my daughter decided to attend, I told her it was my favorite frat house. I love the modern look - it really stands out with all the traditional Southern-looking frat houses.

Early on when we ere discussing renovating the house we actually wanted the new house look like Thomas Jefferson's Monticello. UA told us that we would have to move our location as our house had historical significance. The house was designed in the early 1950's by the first dean of the school of architecture.
320 Arkansas Avenue has been our home for over 60 years and we've been on campus since 1904 (We were the first TTKA chapter west of the Mississippi River as well).

Alpha Chi Omega's lot is being cleared and it looks like construction will start soon. If you look to the right of the Phi Mu construction you will see AXO's lot and farther right is the AOPi house. Out of view and across the street to the left of Phi Mu is the Kappa Kappa Gamma house. https://app.oxblue.com/open/universityofarkansas
I found a few designs on the AXO FB page here:

Per Arkansas Greek Life's FB Page 1703 PNMs are registered for recruitment (August 11-19). Another registration record.

That would be insane with these numbers! The growth is just phenomenal and the houses are incredible. Kappa, Chi O and Pi Phi have new/renovated houses, Zeta and Tri Delt are renovating their houses, Phi Mu is under construction and DG and AXO will be under construction in the near future. Chapter sizes are 350-450 from what I understand and AGD coming in Fall 2018.
The growth isn't limited to just sororities, our chapter now is the second largest TTKA chapter (behind Florida State) in the nation with 239 members last Spring.
Crazy!

Just an update from what I saw this week dropping off my kid. The Phi Mu and AXO houses are done. The Phi Mu house is stunning. KD tore down old house and building a new one. DG building a new house. DDD remodel isnt complete but should be in a few months.
I think it was Farmhouse doing a renovation/add on.
I am amazed at all the new houses and remodels. This will be my first going off to school and couldn't be happier. We will see if greek life will play a role.
