At any rate, I just wanted to throw an idea out there for you. First and foremost, this idea might not be for everyone. I read another post about "canabalizing" your chapter because only the people in your chapter might participate in the purchasing. This could happen here, so it works better if you have a lot of girls who either live outside of the house or know a lot of girls outside of the house. Also, this particular post would only apply to people in Oregon, although I'm sure you could find a rep in your area.
Anyway, the point...Mark. (yes, the period is there on purpose) is a division of Avon that is geared toward "younger" women. Lauren Conrad is actually their spokesperson. They have recently started offering a fundraising program. This is something I was involved with back in Michigan but mostly with cheer teams and dance teams. The rate of return is pretty good. 15%-40% of your sales depending on your campaign. You would have the opprotunity to discount one item that would be good only for your campaign. The best part is that everything is super affordable which is great for college students. The average order is around $27.00 and you get quite a bit for $27.00. Also, you get your money right away. I'd sit down and do the math and write a check back to your chapter right then and there.
