On December 6, the California Pi Chapter of Phi Delta Theta at San Diego State presented a philanthropy event titled “Little Drummer Phis” to benefit the Seany Foundation. The Seany Foundation is a local nonprofit organization that works to improve the lives of children with cancer. The chapter has been working all semester with various sponsors and lighting companies to put on the two hour event. California Pi used its chapter house as a canvas to sync thousands of Christmas lights to music and put on a show for the entire SDSU community.

Where is it in relation to the other sorority houses? Is it on Cleveland past the Pi Phi house? Or further over by Phi Mu? Looks great, btw.

Very close to Pi Phi - kinda catty corner (sp?). There is a parking lot across the street from Pi Phi. The AOII house is across the street from that parking lot. It's much closer to Pi Phi than it is to Phi Mu. Hope that makes sense.

This site has photos of all the fraternity and sorority houses at IU. There are also video tours of several of them.

At Brenau, some sorority house tear-downs, some new construction, is reported:

On Prior Street, the houses of Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Delta Pi, Phi Mu and Zeta Tau Alpha will be torn down, with new construction taking their place.”

A Phi Mu active told me that Phi Mu has purchased lots adjacent to their house and will begin expansion some time in the near future.

Went to OSU (Stillwater) for Mom's weekend and saw the new AOII house. The house isn't finalized but it was nice to see. I didn't take pics because I must be the last person on earth without an iPhone or Android phone.

1. There will be enough parking for all the residents of the house which is a plus.

2. Location is nice - right at the T intersection near Pi Phi. When you're at the stop sign, can only go left or right, you see the big porch, big columns.

3. Sundeck located in the back which the girls seemed to like.

4. Community bathrooms on every floor and on each side of the stairwell.

5. Rooms good size with 2 person or 4 person rooms. Negative - no closet, instead each girl gets an armoire. I'm not sure I can get my head around where all the clothes go.

Overall impression the house is going to be very nice. The girls (and parents) were very excited to see a much closer to finished version.

Thanks for the update. I'm writing my first OSU rec for a PNM and I was curious how the house was coming!
