I'm up listening to talk radio. They're talking about pot. 20-million Americans used pot last year. It's now up 1/3 from last year. One lady in Colorado produces 120 lbs of it per/day Lol. She sells it (for medical purposes, supposedly). This stuff is going to be legalized in every state soon. It's all politics. Thoughts?

I think it's losing a lot of the stigma attached to it and that is all good. My mom had a great deal of trouble taking her "pot pills" for her chemo side effects and no amount of us explaining to her that the gets you high part isn't in there made her any more chill about taking advantage of this near miracle drug. I believe they just started calling it something else and she got on board. She eats more, doesn't have nausea and is no longer losing weight. Thanks pot!

I wish the stigma would go away and that (at least) medical marijuana would become legal at the federal level. Until it does, employers can still fire you for using. Studies out of Europe show it to be more effective than any medication on the market for putting Crohn's Disease into remission. I won't try it as long as I could still get fired if subjected to a random drug screen. My employer's policy clearly states they follow federal law.

My ex told a prospective employer that he uses medical marijuana for pain control. They said that's fine. If you could really benefit from it you might address it with HR. In advance of any drug testing of course.

I'm sure. I'm sure he's done a lot of great things outside of football. It's just that my dislike of him is strictly "football fan" related (he's such a whiner).

I swear, this Friday, I'm definitely going to be doing more sitting than standing. It's just that the heels I bought that I'm going to be wearing are not going to be very comfortable. But they're going to look so cute with my dress.

So I'm usually not an indecisive person but say if you had 2 classes back to back. they are basically on different sides of campus. The class is a Pilates class and you would only have 15 minutes to get to class. You are also a VERY slow walker. The only positive would be that you would only have to do this for about 6-6.5 weeks since its only half a semester.Would you suck it up? or just wait another semester to take this class?

you also might have the possibility to take another class in substitution to this for the same amount of credits. It would also be online.

I would learn to walk faster. If you have a health issue that prevents you from walking faster you probably shouldn't be taking pilates.
