Robert Johnson, MD, the game of tennis was effectively integrated at its highest levels through his support, coaching and mentorship of Althea Gibson, Arthur Ashe and many others. For his visionary and unselfish contributions to the game, he was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
