-Lolita Lempicka perfume... the BEST stuff ever! it smells like cotton candy, and it's all I've worn for about 2 years now

-Benefit Pineapple Facial Polish... it smells so good, i just want to eat it... plus, it literally makes my skin glow

-Prescriptives Magic liquid powder... the coolest stuff... it's 70% liquid so it goes on feeling wet and leaves you all shimmery and sheer but with flawless skin

-Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing lotion... it's the only moisturizer that doesn't make my skin feel greasy or weighted down

-got2b straightening balm... it comes from any old drugstore, but it's wonderful, at least for my hair, and it's not too heavy

-Bare Escentuals powder in Warmth... I was a little skeptical about this stuff, but my mom ordered some and I stole this from her... it's like a bronzer you can wear year-round... it provides just the right amount of color, but isn't too overwhelming or too bronzing... it's just perfect!

-Lancome Definicils mascara

-red nail polish... my toes stay red all summer

-Burt's Beeswax lip balm or Benefit Dr. Feelgood lip balm... one of the two is with me at all times

-MAC brushes and eyeshadows

and this is a new development, but that new John Frieda stuff for brunettes is FABULOUS! especially the shine enhancing conditioner

MY FAVORITE!!

I use all the Clinque line for face care
Rimmel eyeshadow
Maybelline Lash Extension Mascara-Love that stuff, makes my lashes look sooooo long!
Body Shop cream blush
NYC black/turquoise eyeliner duo
NYC Kiss Gloss-I have like 3 different flavors of this stuff-it tastes yummy and is so shiny!
I am poor right now, so I have mostly the cheap stuff, but I usually use all Clinque makeup when I can afford to buy it!!
And I love NYC for inexpensive shimmery stuff-the shimmer cream eyeshadow in green is so awesome-it makes my eyes look so green and sexy.

Let me preface this by saying.... I'm POOR! I went from all MAC and Clinique in college... to this! The real world stinks!

L'Oreal SPF 15 Facial Moisturizer
L'Oreal Face Scrub

I use Neutrogena products like:
Oil Free Acne Wash & Body Wash
Foundation #50
Cinnamon Rasin blush

Clinique Like Mink Eyeshadow

Mary Kay bronzer, bronze or black eyeliner and blonde eyebrow pencil AND my fabulous makeup brush set by Mary Kay

Almay Mascara & nude lip liner

Cover Girl loose powder

sheer gloss in varying shades-- depends on my mood, I usually apply a lipstick and dilute with gloss.

Love Aveeno's body lotion

Clinique Happy is one of my favorite scents!

I am really really hooked on Benefit's Dr. Feelgood.....makes your skin so smooth and makeup goes on like magic

Dior Addict lipstick

MAC glitter cream in Playmate Pink, I use it to highlight my cheekbones in lieu of blush and it is quite lovely

John Frieda's new Brilliant Brunette line

Jacqua Pumpkin Papaya mask and Buttercream Frosting Body Butter

I'm a lipstick junkie, so I have every brand, color and finish out there.....never met a lipstick I didn't like

Revlon Illuminance cream eyeshadows

I cannot find a mascara I am happy with.....I have long lashes but I like to really emphasize them.....I have tried them all.....any suggestions????

I really like Mary Kay's Endless Performance Mascara.

Everyone always seems to love Maybelline Great Lash - but it has never worked for me. I used to use L'Oreal Volum. Mascara, but it chunks kinda easy. I also have used Maybelline's Full n'Soft and the one that comes in a navy tube.

But I still really like the Endless Performance best. B/c I normally get mascara lines on my top eye lid for some reason at the end of the day, but with this I don't - it stays on magically!!!

hey there!
Are you looking for stuff that doesn't chunk? I really liked the Clinique mascara, and my mom likes Alamay since it is really thin (more like a lash tint than anything else-- on a side note, that's why I think people like Greatlash, it's so thin at first, it can't chunk). I've found that the best way to get good mascara is to curl your lashes, never let the mascara get old and to apply it right. You can usually "fix" any kind of mascara by wiping some off the wand before you apply.
hope that helps!

Hi, I'm Sheila & I'm a makeup/bath products/hair care addict.

I really don't need to go shopping for any of this stuff ever again in my life but I will anyway. Here are some current faves:

-Cover Girl Simply Powder foundation

-Revlon Illuminance cream shadows (for nighttime)

-L'oreal Colour Fresco in Icy Spice

-Nars Orgasm blush

-I have every type & brand of lipstick around but Revlon Super Lustrous & Moon Drops are still the best!

-Bonne Bell lip gloss

-L'oreal Touch On Colour - for a quick glow

-Back to Basics curl activating gel

-Dove Nutrium or Ivory Moisture Care body wash or Dial Shower Cream - super moisturizing so I don't have to use lotion if I'm in a hurry

-Vicky's Secret Vanilla Lace bath gel & lotion

I am in dire need of some new products! Problem is, I live in the boonies and there are no good upscale stores near me. Oh the local mall sells the normal, Clinique, Estee Lauder, etc. . . but I want my Prescriptives and MAC! Dammit, I have to drive all the way to Des Moines to get the good isht.

That being said:

* Aveda Rosemary mint shampoo and conditioner
* Prescriptives concealer
* Prescriptives Magic powder
* Bonnie Bell LipLix glosses in espressoyourself and go berry wild
* MAC lipglass
* Burt's Bees lip balm
* Avoplex hand lotion
* Escada collection perfume - A friend gave me a little sample of this and I am hoarding it. I love it for special wear
* Lately I've also been using St. Ives whipped silk and body firming lotions and have been fairly pleased with them! They have an nice, fresh smell and don't leave me feeling overly greasy

I'm in desperate need of new eyeshadows and blush but want to go to Des Moines to get any--hmm, we're going there this weekend. Any suggestions? I have very fair skin (yellow/orange family for Prescriptives), medium brown hair and brown eyes.

sephora.com got me through my years in the boonies.

Some more of my favorites:

*Benefit Hoola
*Benefit Ooh La Lift (fabulous for eye bags)
*Stila Lip Shine in Peach
*Clinique Naturally Glossy Mascara in Jet Black (the only mascara I am consistently happy with)
*L'Oreal's white eyeliner
*St. Ives Peel-Off Hydroxy Mask
*Clinique Anti-Acne Spot Treatment (this stuff is fabulous)
*Carmex
