A question for the boys on pursuing...

1. Do you guys prefer to be the ones pursuing or being the ones pursued?
2. When you're doing the pursuing, how much of a challenge do you want to deal with?
2b. What's more appealing - a lesser or greater challenge?
3. When you're being pursued, how actively and aggressively do you want to be pursued?
3b. What's more appealing - being more agressively or less agressively pursued?

Both are nice..

2. When you're doing the pursuing, how much of a challenge do you want to deal with?
A good challenge is nice, but no games. As long as I know I'll evetually get her it's all good..

2b. What's more appealing - a lesser or greater challenge?
Greater...

3. When you're being pursued, how actively and aggressively do you want to be pursued?

I want it to be known that she wants me..but I dont like stalkers or girls obsessing over where I am and who I'm with all the time..

3b. What's more appealing - being more agressively or less agressively pursued?

Less agressively...

1. Doesn't matter

2. I am sure of what I want. So as long as I make progress with each interaction it's not a challenge but when someone does something just to be obtuse i hate that and lose patience.

2b. Greater, especially if she intellectually challenging.

3. Very aggressive if she is fine. Not very aggresive if she is not attractive in my eyes, however I will tell her if I'm not interested.

3b. See answer three above.

I know that the rest of the gentlemen on GC have an opinion on this. Anyone else care to share their opinion? Also, can any of you guys share specific examples?

1. I think when two people pursue each other at the same time things work out pretty well
2. Enough to feel pretty proud of yourself when successful
2b. 'bout middlin'
3. If it's not active, I don't know it's happening
3b. a bit agressive--too much and it looks like some kind of weird desperation, too little and it seems kinda pointless

There's a girl at work who asks me pretty constantly "when are you gonna ask me out?" or "so when's our big date" or "I really think you should ask me out"...and even if she was my type, it's heading towards being annoying at this point
There's a Chi Omega, however, who definitely liked me last semester but I only found out about it through one of her sisters. She really didn't do anything out of the ordinary--was just nice and we'd talk for a bit everytime we saw each other. But she's pretty busy and kind of free spirited--not really one for making plans...makes things difficult.
So somewhere in between those would be good.
