Congratulations!! and welcome to Alpha Xi. To echo others, you really know how to spin a story. Enjoy your new member period and let us know how it goes .. BTW .. how many women are in your new member class?

Yeah!! The first new Alpha Xi of recruitment!! Welcome to Alpha Xi. You're going to love Alpha Xi Delta (I hope ).

Oh, and your story telling was cruel, but very good.

Xi love and TFJ,

Tell us about Round Three/Videos! What were these videos of?
Each house had a video that they made, mostly of clips of their sisterhood. A couple of them incorporated movie clips or television clips into it. They all incorporated music. Most of them separated the videos into sections - i.e. sisterhood, formals, out and about, intramurals, etc. - but they all did it differently.

Every video that I saw (5, of the 9 sororities) was absolutely top-notch. We have some very creative chapters at UCF!

What groups did your Rho Gams belong to?
My Rho Gamma was a Tri-Delt, which a lot of us guessed at first and then she tricked us.

I didn't get to see all four sadly, from our combined groups, because of the way they did it, but I'm pretty sure one was a Chi-O.

I'm pretty sure we have quota, which I *think* was 70. It might be a little more or less.

There were a lot of girls that rushed this semester. A lot of sophomores, especially, it seemed. (I'm a freshman, FYI.)

Thanks to everyone for all your warm wishes and compliments!

I especially want to thank GPhiBLtColonel, who weeks ago helped me out with Recs. I'm not sure exactly which chapters I had them for, but I love how hard she worked to help me.

I'm glad you enjoyed my story.

Thanks to you all,
-Allie

I don't remember this one but decided to bump it. I can really empathize with her at that one house where they were practically trying to get her to sign up for intramurals; I was a tiny, unathletic thing (except for cheering) and during rush, this one house sent over girl after girl talking about intramurals. Which they always won. In every sport.

Sorority members! If you see that the PNM you're talking to is retreating into the chair cushions, change the subject!

Why are threads from over a decade ago being bumped to the top? It's really bizarre. The diaper thread from 1999 is another one....

A lot of them that I bumped were spam bumps. They were good threads, though!

I may be in the minority, but I'd much rather just scroll past the spam posts (they're rather obvious) than hopefully click on a real one just to find it's nothing but the word "bump".

That is, to me, much more annoying than spam.

I agree, the spam is very easy to weed through.. the bump post not as much
