Thumbs up My list....

Last month I read "Memoirs of a Geisha" and I just finished reading "Cane River" by Lalita Tademy. It's a novel based on her family history. Both books were excellent, although when I first looked at how big "Cane River" was, I didn't think that I'd be able to get through it. But I did within almost a week and I'm glad I read it.

Having it All? by Veronica Chambers.
Cad by Rick Marin.

I tend to like modern fiction and non-fiction by people under 40 years of age.

Exclamation Theological readings

Right Now, I am in the process of finishing My Master's program in Sociology or transfering into a theology program, so I am boning up on theology books with my new found spare time. I am reading Prophecy Deliverace: An African American Revolutionary Christianity By Cornel West and my quarterly Christian Research Journal.

This was one of the best books I've read in a long time. I think I finished it in under a week.
