We took my sil out for her birthday, and she wanted to go to a mom & pop place - she loves it and doesn't want it to go out of business like so many other places.
Anyhow, she & I had stuffed pork chops, baked potatoes, and French onion soup. Hubby had chicken and biscuits. This place isn't very big on veggies, but it was good home cooking!

I make a boatload of chili when I make it, so we are having leftovers. The rest will go in the freezer for the next cold snap.

It's a swim practice night for my son, so Chick-fil-a drive thru it is. And, yes, cold in Florida! We're in Tampa and the heat is on in our house...although it was a beautiful 77 by this afternoon. A/C will probably be back on soon.

The last time I had chili, I was hospitalized with my third ulcer. I love it, but...
We hit the Chick-Fil-A drive-thru tonight as well. Yum!
