Wow adpi*violet - the turquoise on that badge is stunning. What a very happy Birthday and Christmas to you!

adpi*violet, I love your LE badge!! I think my favorite part is the subtle variety in the turquoise, it gives the badge so much character. I'm a sucker for anything in white gold, but that is truly stunning.

Thank you!
Jen- I would think an open circle would work. IIRC, AOΠ has or has had an open circle badge holder that looked great. AOII Angel, can you confirm?
I would think that you could either use one from another org with a similar sided badge, or have one custom made... But if AOΠ's for example would fit your ΑΦ badge, why not?

I would LOVE to turn my badge into a necklace, but I find the Alpha Phi badge pendants they offer at HJ ... kind of ugly. Maybe it's the photography, but they are just disks.
I would totally prefer a "hollow" circular surround like the ADPi badge, but maybe it's not possible with monogram style badges?

You rang?! Yes, we have both the disk and open circle type badge holders. I have the open circle one because I don't like the disc one either. I love it and wear it all the time!
This one actually belongs to a Past International President of AOII and features a "chased" holder. I like the badge in the holder. I don't have a great picture of mine so enjoy hers.

AGDs have the same option. I have the open circle because I heard that the disc was a pain.
It also helped to have extra grooves in the back so that the straight pin (sorry don't know what is is called) can lay in the groove - easier to close.
Collegiate AGDs can only wear the Badge over their heart. Alumnae have other options (Badgeholder, ring, etc.)

Same with us. Only alumnae can use badge holders. I love, love, love mine!

How 'bout something pretty on this rainy day?
This is a Chi Omega "Friendship Pin," currently only given by the National President to men who show outstanding loyalty and service to Chi Omega. Usually received by husbands of national officers, this pin belonged to Robert Manley, legal counsel to Chi Omega for over 25 years.
The Greek letters stand for the word "friend."
