Pledging Grad Chapter

I didn't get the chance to pledge in undergrad (KAΨ wasn't on my campus at the time), I heard of something called 'post-pledge', where someone who wants to pledge grad chapter can pledge on the line with the undergrads.

I was told this method is to encourage bonding with the rest of the brothers, something a grad chapter pledge otherwise wouldn't have the chance to do.

Thanks for the info/suggestions.

If done correctly, you can get that bonding experience in an Alumni process. I did.

Pledging does not necessarily guarantee a bond, and pledging is not the only way one can bond with other brothers. Please don't get me wrong, I'm not necessarily discrediting pledging, but I believe that sometimes people tend to overrate it.

Yes. Agreed. As a matter of fact, I know quite a few members who went over grad, and still have that same undergrad bonding experience.
