A lot of factors go into the decision. For example, many universities (i.e. in the south) wouldn't think of extension when chapter size is "only" 150-200. However, at some schools where houses can no longer handle chapter meetings/chapter dinners, its a necessity. Its all relative to the university and it's environment.

That's true! It is definitely stressful trying to find meeting space when chapter size has grown exponentially

Indiana University-Purdue University-Fort Wayne has opened for Greek Life. This would be a re-establishment of their Greek system.
eta: Original post said that this would be a new Greek system.

IPFW
IPFW has had sororities and fraternities in the past. But those have all since closed.

There was a poster a few years back who was trying to revive Greek life and encountered a lot of pushback and misinformation from the administration about it. I wonder what caused them to change their minds.

Tri Delta (September 10) , Alpha Omicron Pi (September 16), and Pi Beta Phi (September 17).
The Panhellenic is considering stacking from what I have heard though ultimately, I am not totally sure of this.

Per Alpha Phi's Facebook page, our Alpha Phi colony at Yale took 40 new members by the count in the picture.

An active weekend for colonizations! In addition to Gamma Phi Beta at Florida, Alpha Phi at Yale, and Delta Zeta at Western Kentucky, there were the following:
Congratulations to the Beta Theta Pi colony at Texas Tech. They pinned 80 pledges this weekend.
Congratulations to Sigma Kappa on a successful colonization at the College of Charleston(SC).
Congratulations to Alpha Gamma Delta on a successful colonization at Kansas State University.
Congratulations to Alpha Chi Omega on a successful colonization at Florida Gulf Coast University.

Just to add to the great news of colonizations from other GLO's, this past Saturday ZBT initiated and pinned 41 founding fathers for the new Omega Colony at University of Missouri-Columbia. Congratulations and welcome to the Brotherhood.
