I am currently reading Stolen Legacy by George G.M. James. It was suggested to me by a friend. I will be starting on the book tonight.

I'm reading N*gger by Randall Kennedy. Anyone read The Ways of Black Folk by Bro. Lawrence Ross?

(I haven't posted in like six months, I'm trying to make a comeback)

I've read this book before and it's really good. Randall Kennedy did a lot of research to use the information he used. Let me know if you liked it or not when you've finished it.

Thumbs up Since my last posting....

I've read three books and am in the process of reading a fourth. The books that I've read since my last post are:

1. Between Lovers by EJD (really good book)
2. Sorority Sisters by Tajuana Butler (also a good book)
3. True to the Game by Teri Woods (great book, but ending seemed kinda unrealistic)

I'm now reading Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison. It's really good so far and I'm hoping to finish it in the next couple of days.

I read this last year and it is really a good read. It's a long book, but good nevertheless.

Now I'm reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad, Go Tell It on The Mountain, and Giovanni's Room

I read Giovanni's Room last year and it's a really good book. I just finished reading Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison and I thought was really good!!! I'm currently reading Lyrics of Lowly Life: The Poetry of Paul Lawrence Dunbar. The poems are really good. I've been interested in Dunbar for awhile now after I heard one of my classmates read "We Wear the Mask" in class one day.

I am currently reading "God's Gift to Women" by Michael Baisden. Of what I have read so far, it's OK. I've read better. I'm half way through.
