Sorority Boys

Hey ladies,

I don't know if you guys knew this but when I was at the Alpha Psi (University of Southern California) house last weekend to help out with Jewel Degree one of the sisters told me that the sorority house they used in the movie Sorority Boys was the adpi house! I just watched the movie and it was pretty cool seeing parts of the house. If you watch the extras, there is this part where they are shooting outside and you see the front of the house with our letters...The fraternity house they used in the movie is across the street from the adpi house and thats the SAE house.

Just thought you might be interested to know. The girls said their house has been used many times before too. Another movie they mentioned was Pumpkin with Christina Ricci.

Actually I thought the same thing but it was a pretty decent movie. I had some good laughs when they were making fun of the sterotypes.

I love that movie Pumpkin, just because it's kinda twisted humor. Sorority boys was good too, although I thought it was going to be stupid.

OMG, lyrica9, you DO look like Christina Ricci! When I met you I kept thinking you looked like someone, and now I know that's it!

Saw Pumpkin tonight, anything with Christiana Ricci in it is usually dark so it diddn't suprise me. its one of those kind of arty movies where the director is trying to make a point and it came across loud and clear.
I love the journey that Ricci's character takes from believing that the world is this perfect "easy" place to learning hard truths about the human condition and fianally realizing that she she cannot conform to the world.
It was kind of depressing though, to see the way that the world at large treated her because she could see more than just a "retarded boy". but I guess whats so sad about it is that it really rings of truth.
