I'm so sorry for your loss. 
As you may know, I lost my mother to esophageal cancer about two years ago. It gets easier with time ... but it never gets easy.

I had a friend post on facebook that I have now joined a club of people who have lost their mothers. That is a club I didn't need to join.

Losing a parent is something that puts a permanent filter on the way you look at the world. I lost my father last March. It gets...I won't say easier, but it gets to a point where your first thought each morning and the last thought each night about every third one in between aren't about your loved one.

I am so sorry for your loss.
I can not imagine losing a parent. My mom will be eighty in August.
For all you that lost a parent and or parents, I admire you for being strong.

Both of my parents are gone and while I will say that it does get easier as time passes, it still hurts a lot! My prayers and condolences are with you!
