Curious to see how many of those registered are Blinn Team students and how that will affect them during recruitment. The topic was discussed on here a while back but I don't think we ever definitively sorted out whether any national sororities had restrictions against taking BT students.

Most are not Blinn Team. There are not that many on the Blinn Team all together to make up this increase. Yes, there are groups that have restrictions and will not be recruiting Blinn team pnms I am not privy to who they are and there may be other chapters that chose not to recruit them as well.

Wow, I feel like a jump to 1400 from 900 is significant. Even from 900 to 1200+ is a pretty significant jump.

Not for sure if this is completely accurate. I am going by what was reported to the chapters to be prepared for new members. They are telling the girls to prepare for 85-88 new members which is an increase of 20 from last year, I believe. Anyway you shake it, it is all good for the Greek System at A&M. We knew entrance into the SEC would change the direction of Greek Life, we didn't know it would happen so fast if indeed this all comes to fruition. Fingers crossed.

Is this jump in recruitment registration mapping to an increase in overall enrollment?

Perhaps! I think a lot of things have come together to play a part. I'm just glad to see Greek Life growing at A&M.

This is cray to me since UCSD doesn't start recruitment until 10/10. The Troy PNMs will likely be initiated by then!

Delta Phi Epsilon will be starting a new colony at St. Joseph's College - Long Island Campus at Patchogue, NY, absorbing local sorority Alpha Theta Rho.
