Excerpts from article:
[Chapter] President Mitch France said the members were told about the decision Thursday night. He said the charter's revoking resulted from the chapter failing to meet the Ball State University all-men's average GPA of 2.738, a mandate given to them by the national organization. France said the fraternity's average GPA last semester was 2.54.
The university put the fraternity on suspension in August after police arrested several people for minor in consumption during a house party. . . .
The article goes on to say that the revocation of the charter had nothing to do with the suspension; it was based on the GPA.
