Do you remember

when the only advertisements they showed on the movie screen were trailers? It seems like I have to watch 15 minutes of commercials before I get to see trailers, then the movie.

Oh, don't get me started on those commercials!! I like seeing the previews of upcoming movies, but if I had wanted to watch commercials for other stuff, I could have stayed at home and watched tv.

Actually, the original "commercial" using that jingle did have subliminal messages those many years ago. I think there was some kind of huge investigation of it at about the time that they were looking into subliminal messages on TV -- which are now illegal.

Man, I miss the days of the dancing ice cream and hotdog on the screen.

That one with the crying baby was a classic too.

Now I have to put up with Marines recruiting ads and car commercials. NOT FUN.

Count your blessings. I'm tired of the NASCAR commercials before the movie starts.

I used to think wonderful things beyond my realm of imagination were taking place in lobbies, all over the world!

NO KIDDING. That's annoying. And it would be one thing if all those commercials kept movie prices down but movie prices are going up. If I wanted to see a bunch of commercials I'd stay home and watch for free.
