Family Tradition

Here are some traditions that I've done, or that other girls in the sorority have done:

~The night that we have big/lil revelation, the big gives her lil a matching jersey that she has had made.
~Every big gives their little a lavalier. Each family's lavalier is different (they're all different). My family lavalier is a circle and engraved on the back (just as my big's is) is the date of the revelation and the big's name.
~During the week before big/lil revelation the big gives her lil a pillow with a bunny on it (the bunny is our chapter mascot. actually, it was - it's been changed since I left to a butterfly).
~Each family has a family poem that the big gives to the lil
~I'm super organized, and so is my big, so she started a tradition of making corkboards for the lil's...they're really easy to decorate.
~My family also has the tradition of putting the chapter mascot on the study board.
~One of my good friends starting a tradition of making beer bunnies (you take an EMPTY beer bottle, pipe cleaners, and little eyes and make it into a bunny). She started this tradition because her family was also known to be the drinkers of the sorority and still kept very good grades as well as EC positions.
