I watch L&O, but don't know anyone's name. I'm assuming we're talking about the blonde (what other woman is there!?). I don't think they cut her, I think she wanted to leave. They always show pics in the NY papers of the local shows filming and when Jerry decided to leave to do the spinoff, they were talking about how she decided to leave as well, though her departure would be mid-season.

It did bring tears to my eyes! I SO miss him!
I knew she was leaving L&O but I am dying to find out who is replacing her. Did she get married yet? (If I remember correctly, she is engaged to chef Bobby Flay)

Nope, Bobby Flay is engaged to the girl who played the ADA on SVU who had to go into the witness protection program.
