Question Serenades

My best friend and roommate was just recently pinned and as the social chair for our chapter, I need to plan the serenade and after-party. The only problem is we can't decide on a fun serenade theme that hasn't already been done. We've seen "Bond Girls", a Moulin Rouge theme, Angels, etc. Has anyone ever done a serenade before and remembers a cute theme? Any help you could give us would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks much!

I remember we serenaded the Kappas at my school on University Day. Their booth was right next to ours and they really enjoyed it!!!

We did a country theme once, with cowboy hats and handkerchiefs (easy to get both at your local wal-mart or target for really really cheap) and sang something along the lines of John Denver's "Thank God I'm a Country Boy", but said, "Thank God you choose a Kappa Girl."

Another thing we did once was dress up in formals and white gloves and sing some 50s-styled songs. Very cute!

Lastly, and certainly the easiest to dress was with white sheets and flowing wavy hair as ancient greeks so glad to see the greek groups coming together, being connected through the couple. ;-)

Whatever you do, just have fun and you'll be fine!
