Posters are linking images back to a specific web site. If the chapter's web site changes (new web address) then the link may no longer exist. Or it may be that the chapter's web site is updated and the image is moved (new address/page on the 'old' web site) thus the link on GC is no longer correct. Or perhaps it may be as simple as the image has been removed from the chapter's web site.

Besides what TSteven said I'd also venture to say that a lot of these pictures are hosted personally (I know mine are) and I've even considered moving them to a different host or just deleting them all from my account. If I move them the link will break therefore they won't show up (and I won't want to go back & update the images in this thread) or if I delete them they just won't ever show up again. I was thinking about deleting them this morning actually-13 images in this thread alone.

Our house isn't as big as others, but it was built for us by alumni. The house was built because one Alumnus mortgaged his farm.

At Auburn, sororities are housed in dorms. We have 16 chapters on our campus which are housed in 12 dorms. There is space for 18 sororities. Each sorority has a floor reserved in a dorm with 10 4-bed suites which each share a bathroom and one 1-bed President's Suite with a private bath, a study lounge, office, and 2 small locked storage closets for the chapter's excvlusive use. In the basement is a Large chapter room, kitchen, powder room, and large storage closet.
