Wow, what a coincidence. I don't pay $3k a year for that stuff either. I do however pay $4500 a year to my fraternity. This money goes towards housing, food, rush, philanthropies, social events (yes even those not involving alcohol), and a small portion goes to our international headquarters, to pay those on the payroll, pay for publications, seminars, and that type of stuff. Yet, it is still cheaper for me to be a part of my fraternity than to live in a dorm. Something's not right there!

By the way, I don't drink or hang out with anyone who is not my friend, but I'll do both with every one of my brothers. I became friends with many of them, and THEN joined the fraternity, and then became friends with the rest of them.

I would hardly call that a minority. My campus, which is a major university, just to let you know, has 52% greek population! I believe that is technically the majority. Just thought you could use the info
