letters

hey everyone,
i know this might be a stupid question, but out of all the websites ive seen everyone has cardboard letters. how do you make them? i think its so cute just to have it in pictures, but my chapter only has the humungous wooden block letters we use for recruitment. so if anyone can tell me what type of material they use and how they got the letters to look decent, then it would be a great asset to my chapter. thanks ladies

If I remember right, we used a heavy-duty, thick cardboard in large sheets. Then we used a ruler to draw the letters in and cut it with a sharp razor for smooth edges. We usually painted them and decorated them with glitter or something fun to match what we were doing. I hope this helps.
