The Daily Californian reports on the options Deke is considering following Berkeley's de-recognition of the chapter there:

Good, I hope they win it. I personally would rather go to any college than University of California At Hell.

The Daily Californian has an editorial criticizing Berkeley's administration for lack of transparency about the DKE situation.

http://www.dailycal.org/article/1047...ernity_fallout

Aside from the use of the newish buzzword "transparency," I think it's not a bad editorial, and it's something that could be said about a lot of schools' disciplinary / "judicial" proceedings and decisions.

I'm not saying the either Berkeley's administration or Deke is "good" or "bad" in this situation, just that there seems to be a lot of murkiness about what happened and why decisions were made.
