The Daily Californian has an editorial criticizing Berkeley's administration for lack of transparency about the DKE situation.

Aside from the use of the newish buzzword "transparency," I think it's not a bad editorial, and it's something that could be said about a lot of schools' disciplinary / "judicial" proceedings and decisions.
I'm not saying the either Berkeley's administration or Deke is "good" or "bad" in this situation, just that there seems to be a lot of murkiness about what happened and why decisions were made.
