I came out as - Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants

At first I was a little skeptical but as I read on, I saw some of me in that area... plus I was raised Methodist and went to a Lutheran College... hmm, something to think about.

My #1 belief match is Eastern Orthodox, which is what I am. Rounding out the top three were Roman Catholic and Orthodox Quaker.

I agree with ZTA Angel, though. For most people, I think how they were raised will determine which belief system they fit in best with. A lot of people don't critically think about religion anymore...they just go along with what's familiar.

My top ten...

1. Neo-Pagan (100%)
2. Unitarian Universalism (98%)
3. Liberal Quakers (95%)
4. New Age (95%)
5. Reform Judaism (85%)
6. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (78%) Click
7. Mahayana Buddhism (77%)
8. Bahá'í Faith (75%)
9. Secular Humanism (69%)
10. Sikhism (67%)

After reading the top 2 explanations, I would say I'm closer to Unitarian Universalism than Neo-Pagan. In real life, I'm agnostic.

I'm mayahana Buddhism... second is Liberal quakers then mainline to liberal prostetant( which isn't suprising since I attended a presbyterian church for most of my Jr. high and High school years)
I'm kinda suprised that I fit in with Buddhism... although I really don't know that much about their beliefs to know if I should be suprised that I may hold some of the same beliefs goes to show that maybe we hold some stereotypes in our minds with out even knowing we may have some common beliefs !

My #1 match was Mayahana Buddhism. Other high ones were Orthodox Quaker, Liberal Protestant (what I probably really am if I had to choose) & Taoism (which is actually something I follow a lot of philosophy of).

The Religions I Fit Into Are:

Neo-Pagan came in at 100%, followed closely by Buddism (96%), and Unitarianism(90%)...

Yowza! All this time I'd thought that I was just a nice Methodist girl from the Midwest...

Fun Quiz!

1. Mainline -- Liberal Christian Protestants (100 percent)
I'm a journalist (there's your liberal) and Methodist (there's your mainline Christian Protestant).

2. Mainline -- Conservative Christian Protestant (85 percent)
I was raised Southern Baptist, most of my relatives are still Southern Baptist, and I live in the Bible Belt.

3. Orthodox Quaker (75 percent)
I'm going to have to click on the link to browse books related to this one. Now I'm intrigued.

I'm 100% liberal quaker.... I'm not even sure what that is... I remember studying the Quakers in history, but I didn't know they still existed...
