I went through formal rush and what we did was go to three differnet parties the first night,there are only the sororities on my campus. Then the night day we picked up invitations to the parties we were invited back to the next night. If you don't get invited back its maybe your grades aren't as high as the need to be so don't worry they will probably still want to be friends with you. we did the parties invitations the day after again. the fourth night was called preference night and we could only choose two of the invitations we got that day. This party is what will be your determining factor or at least it was for me. the next day is called bid day and you go into a room and take or decline your bid. then in a big ceremony they announce where you decided to go. None of the sororities know where you go so its a big surprise for them to. Its a lot of funny and i highly suggest you at least try it. I've never regretted rushing and i love all my sisters.
