And in the year 2040 when this year's NMs have their own legacies 'in the mix' there will be that many more legacies at recruitment; unless quota then becomes 150-200 at every university there will STILL be houses that cannot pledge every qualified legacy.

Can someone clarify for me about the 2 lists? Is it possible that if the sorority that my rec girl put 2nd, listed her as a TOP girl, could she be computer matched with that one even if her legacy sorority had her on their bid list but lower down? I didn't think it worked like that but that is what they are hearing from some people who seem to be "in the know".

The computer tries to match the PNMs first choice, but if ABC sorority has her lower on the list and they fill their quota before they come to her name on the ABC list, the computer will them try to match her 2nd choice and so on.

Not exactly - it would go by where she was on her first choice list first. The RFM program is weighted toward her getting her first choice. If she was in the list of her first choice list before the number they hit for quota - she would have matched to them. If she was in their second list - she would match to her second choice.

I believe all chapters now using ICS and/or Campus Director only submit one list. This is the notice Aphi's were given from NPC:
Last weekend the RFM Leadership Team recently completed a meeting with Peter Dudley of ICS Software. In that meeting we discussed suggested updates/enhancements to their Campus Recruiter software program for use by our college chapters, Panhellenic and the RFM specialists.

One significant change all campuses and collegiate chapters that use ICS software will see during the Fall 2013 recruitment is that all final chapter bid lists must be submitted in rank order. Chapters will submit only one list and the practice of submitting two bid lists - an A list (alpha order) and a B list (rank order) - will be discontinued. Submission of one final bid list should expedite the submission of the chapter's final bid list. This practice will now mirror the same process done with chapters/campuses that use the Campus Director Recruitment software program.

These changes will be included in the ICS training conducted with the campus Panhellenic prior to the start of recruitment.

It appears Tri Delta has 84 new members from a candid photo. I will try to find an accurate number.

A few more OU NM updates. If you can fill in the blanks, please post!

Quota: 81
AXO - 87 (per the OU AXO twitter account)
AGD - 42 (NM group photo on AGC facebook page; not sure if this is the entire NM class; no # listed on AGD facebook or twitter)
AOPi - ?? (no mention of # on twitter; haven't been able to find them on facebook)
APi - 88 (per Alpha Phi thread on GC - 81 + 7)
Chi O - ?? (no # updates on twitter or facebook)
DDD - 84 (per posting on GC)
DG - 84 (per a posting on a DG thread on GC)
GPhiB - 88 (per GPhiB facebook photo & a comment on total # of NMs)
Theta - ?? (no mention of # on twitter; Theta facebook page hasn't been updated since February)
KKG - ?? (no mention of # on twitter; Kappa facebook pages hasn't been updated since April)
Pi Phi - ?? (no mention of # on twitter; Pi Phi facebook page hasn't been updated since July)

I agree with IrishPipes. If NM classes are 80+ at Oklahoma, let's talk expansion!
(Can't believe KD & ZTA are gone ... )

College students are addicted to social media. Bid Day was 8/13. A few chapters still haven't listed #s.

Quota: 81
AXO - 87 (per the OU AXO twitter account)
AGD - 42 (NM group photo on AGC facebook page; not sure if this is the entire NM class; no # listed on AGD facebook or twitter)
AOPi - 81 (per their national facebook page)
APi - 88 (per Alpha Phi thread on GC - 81 + 7)
Chi O - 81 (per facebook and the daughter of my Chi O sisters pledged! They got a great girl and a legacy to boot!)
DDD - 84 (per posting on GC)
DG - 84 (per a posting on a DG thread on GC)
GPhiB - 88 (per GPhiB facebook photo & a comment on total # of NMs)
Theta - looks like 84 (in the NM photo from facebook stalking)
KKG - ?? (no mention of # on twitter; Kappa facebook pages hasn't been updated since April) Here's a twitter pic, but not at a good angle to count: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BRlCWQXCMAAAu2I.jpg:large
Pi Phi - possibly 81 (in a chapter photo from facebook stalking, but photo was small & difficult to count)

And WHAT IN THE WORLD is going on with the OU Kappa chapter? Something about a topless pic during recruitment. (I can't look that up on my work computer due to content.)

It was posted on another site but has been taken down. That's my sisters' chapter (they're alumnae). Yikes
