So I know that it can be done, but you may want to have some options -- a snowflake pin, or something?
You read my mind! I have 3 snowflake pins, and was thinking they could be scattered, not marching in a straight row - IF they need them!

BTW, did you see the picture on the ADPi facebook page of the bridal bouquet & the pins? Very cute!

So my colors changed. Not a lot, but they're now dark green (hunter/forest) and silver. This is a combination that both fiance and I agree on, which is great! And I have a tentative date, but of course that depends on wherever we have it and what they have available around that time.

Please be gentle - I have no one I can really discuss this with except online, and while their cakes are wonderful, I can't understand the bakers over the phone, 500 miles away.
I'm having embellishments on ours, so I would assume they'll end it there. I just Googled this because I was curious and a lot of places said they do a small dot of icing in the back to "seal it."

Apparently for food safety issues they will iron wax paper to the back of the ribbon so it doesn't leach or anything.

Finally, Ballerina has both a church and a reception venue; you wouldn't believe how hard it was to get both places on the same day. She's planning for an evening wedding and wants to do something with lanterns and white lights. I saw some small purple glass lanterns in Birmingham that she could possibly set on the tables.

Ideas?

So, San Francisco Magazine has a smaller mag called 7x7 which has an offshoot called 7x7 Weddings. Personally, I like when women wear colors other than white and pretty much do their own thing. I see it as being unique and true to ones self. Anywho, I never buy the mag because the photographer I interned with shoots for SF mag and gets them for free hence I get them for free. I was in the bookstore the other day and flipped through 7x7 Weddings and came across this http://www.7x7.com/wedding-resource/...-wedding-woods. Very Cool!! I liked it so much, I bought the mag.
