The car in front of us (myself and one of my Kappa sisters) in the concert traffic tonight had a KKG sticker. We were tempted to jump out when we were stopped to say hi, but we didn't.

Today I was behind an SUV with a Monmouth College Alumni license plate holder and a Pi Beta Phi window sticker.

It's more of a "hearing letters" on Grey's Anatomy tonight. Kappa Sig mentioned a few times in the opening 20 minutes. They haven't referred to it as anything else, so I can't tell if it's a fake out.

Saw a girl in a Penn State Alpha Xi Delta shirt running in Lake View. I tried to give her a nod but she was in the zone. After she passed I realized I should have thrown the Xi.

I totally wouldn't have been creepy if I would have done that.

The kindergarten teacher and I both wore our Alpha Phi badges to school on Founders Day last fall. We were both pretty surprised to find out that along with our friendship, we also shared a sisterhood.

Just found out my neighbor's daughter is a Kappa Delta, and two sisters my own sister was a nanny to are also Kappa Deltas. Perhaps it's something in our local water?

An Alpha Phi Alpha license plate is in my apartment parking lot. Must have just moved in as they have the permit but I haven't seen the car before.

Lots of letters today at my local Target:

a girl wearing a Tri Delta shirt
a guy wearing a Sigma Nu shirt
a girl wearing a Greek Week shirt. She is an Alpha Phi from U of Northern Iowa
a girl wearing a Lambda Chi Alpha Watermelon Bust shirt. She is an AOII at Coe

I saw a license plate frame the other day that had Zeta Phi Beta letters on top and "In Christ" on the bottom. Of course it's none of my business but I was curious about it.

I frequently see license plate frames frequently in the DC area - more from the Divine 9 than others. I've been noting lately how many of them will have the fraternity or sorority name at the top, and then a profession or a message at the bottom. I've seen "In Christ", "Teacher", "Nurse" and others.

I am in the process of forming a Daughters of Norway lodge. A woman who wasn't able to come to the meeting wrote - turns out both she and her mother are Gamma Phis.

A student in my mini-mester class pledged Gamma Phi but left before initiation. She's pursuing AI.

Very interesting. Thanks for passing that along.

Approaching the Crooks Rd exit on Northbound I-75 in Troy, MI, I saw an Adopt-a-Road sign for the Xi Beta Chapter of Theta Tau. I was surprised because that's the Theta Tau chapter that I went to school with!
