A legacy is either a mother or sister of a rushee...she does not need to be active in alumi groups.

In some sororities any female relative member can make you a legacy. In others it must be mother, sister or grandmother. Each organization has different definitions of 'legacy'. In the NPC, a legacy is extended special courtesy during recruitment but being a legacy is not a guarantee of membership in a particular organization.

If you have to go around telling everyone you're in charge you're not much of a leader.
