House Fire
Your house, containing everything you own, catches fire; after saving your loved ones and pets, you have time to safely make a final dash to save any ONE item.
What would it be?

My photo box. Everything else that I can think of I would be able to replace relatively easily.

Another tough one. Either my stereo or my CDs. Or my stereo with my CDs inside.

I'd definitely save......
My pictures! I can't replace them or the memories that come with them. I can always replace stuffed animals and porcelain dolls....

Ditto on photo book.
A few years ago we had flooding and my next door neighbor's foundation caved sending mud into their basement (all of our basements were finished living spaces.) They had all of their photos, letters, etc. from when they emigrated from Latvia down there. I saw how devastated they were. Insurance replaced everything else, but those memories were gone.

The CPU. All the photos are on there, plus a LOT of writing. My memories and my livelihood are on this thing!

Same. I scanned all my pics into my computer. Plus, I have a lot of projects in there.

My Christian Dior purse. I gotta spruce up the outfit somehow, since I'm going to have to wear it for at least a week.
