Apparently molestation is now a "teenage mistake" rather than a crime that deserves jail time and not a TLC show.

Not only is this whole situation disgusting, so is People for letting him air his attempt at a redemption story. A mistake is underage drinking; not molesting your sisters on multiple occasions. TLC needs to cancel this show now.

What's really gross is that Josh never received counseling and the "law enforcement" officer he spoke to was a cop who was a family friend that is now serving a 56 year jail sentence for child pornography.

Oh, there are so many gross things about it. The fact that Jim Bob and Michelle had to have known that this would come out eventually as long as they kept themselves in the public eye, but that they decided that being on TV was more important than protecting their daughters' privacy. The fact that they never did anything about it. The fact that they then went on to do those fear-mongering robocalls and work for fear-mongering politicians that compare LGBT people to child molesters when they themselves knew they had a child molester in their own family and had helped to cover it up. The fact that they're trying to play it off like a "teenage mistake." The fact that people on their Facebook page are saying nobody should judge him because "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." The fact that Anna knew about this and married him anyway (I can't decide if this is worse or better than not knowing and marrying him anyway--they're both horrible in different ways). Out of all the rumors and speculation over the years "sin in the camp" is the one I hoped wasn't true. I already had a million and one good reasons why I hate them but this is just so disgusting.

ETA: When everything blew up with Honey Boo Boo TLC was quick to react to and distance themselves. I have no faith, at all, they will respond to this in the same quick and swift manner. I hope I'm proven wrong.

I haven't watched TLC in ages primarily because of their crap programming. I agree with you 150% if they canceled Honey Boo Boo, I hope they will do the same for 19 Kids and Counting. We don't need to give predators air time.

Those children need to be taken into state custody. These parents have failed to protect their children from being molested repeatedly by a family member. Not sure about the Arkansas criminal code, but maybe a prosecutor needs to think about rape charges?
