Question OPA FliP Flops?

Howdy all! I hope everyone's year is going well! I have been looking all over the place ever since I joined OPA 3 years ago for some flip flops. Does anybody know anywhere you can order them? All I can find is national/non-service sorority ones. I knwo the geekshop has t-shirts/sweatshirts, etc. we can order with our letters, but no flip flops. Anybody have any suggestions? I have done countless searches on multiple search engines, and still nothing. Any help would be much apprecciated. Thanks!

OPA flip flops

I found a site that will make them, but they require a minum order of 300. Here's the site:
http://www.greekgear.com/cutpflfl.html

Actually, there has been such an insistent buzz for flip flops that I think we could easily get pre-orders for 300 among our 21 active chapters alone. But if we do get the minimum order from the active chapters, we should order extra pairs to sell to alumnae and new members at convention and next year. I know half the NEB is chomping at the bit to buy a pair!

But they MUST be coordinated through the national insignia coordinator. Her name is Patti Ramey and she is FANTASTIC (as anyone who attended last summer's convention will attest). You can reach her at insignia@omegaphialpha.org.

Since the next national convention is in sunny Florida, seems like flip-flops would fit in nicely and sell well there ... perhaps one chapter could just make a lot of $$$ if they're willing to take the initial hit. Anyone up for the risk?

Oooh heck yes! I vote yes to flip flops!

And I second Ginger's comment, Patti is OUTSTANDING

What if Patti took a poll or did a pre-order through chapters? I mean, we've got Paypal set up for Convention payments, couldn't we also pay for flip-flops? I'm pretty sure AT LEAST half the Nu girls and Alpha Zeta girls would buy some... that's 50-60 right there!

I am getting giddy just imagining them Dark blue bands with light blue text, or yellow... or light blue bands with dark blue... ooh too many options!

I KNOW that Alpha Zeta would order at least 20 pairs... most likely more once our pledges become active and will be grabbing for any letter items they can get. If each chapter orders about 20 pairs (some more, some less) then we can easily make the mininum order. Someone should contact Patti!

From greekgear.com:
http://www.greekgear.com/soleflfl.html although personally I think that the ones with the cloth straps that do require a minimum are way cuter.
