I like also - although it makes me a bit sad that none of the local chapters near me wanted to invite me to things - I had no idea there were so many of them

I'm so sorry that you haven't been contacted. Unfortunately, many chapters create a self-imposed membership cap, and they stick to it. Usually, it is because they meet in members' homes, and they can't fit any more. There may be other reasons as well. I hate when that happens to hopeful members-to-be.

Oh, I know there are many different reasons, which is perfectly fine. I just hadn't realised there were quite so many chapters here.

I'm totally at home in my online chapter anyway.
