If your grades are that poor, aside from everything else, I would venture to guess that 99.9% of sororities wouldn't touch you with a ten foot pole. They wouldn't be allowed to. Most (if not all) groups have to get special permission from a national officer or some sort of higher to take someone that is below their group's national grade requirements. It rarely happens.

Your first priority in college is to get an EDUCATION. If you pretty much failed every class last spring, you've got bigger issues to worry about than being greek.

Get your life together.

It also sounds like you're pretty negative - whether that's low self confidence or just displeasure with the rush process. That shines through. Instead of focusing on what you have going on that's good, everything was negative.

But honestly, with grades that bad, why would you even want to think about joining a sorority? If you couldn't get it together enough to pass classes without being in a sorority, how on earth could you handle the time commitment of a sorority and class?

Note:

Even if you had falsely raised your hand about being a legacy, this wouldn't have guaranteed you a bid. Legacy status doesn't guarantee a bid.

Also, consider that they might have tried to verify your legacy status, and asked you who in your family is a member, then they would've found out and you would've been "that girl who lied about being a legacy."

Please focus on your studies and self-esteem/mental health before pursuing membership again. I think adding a sorority to your activities at this point will only take away from progress you can make in these areas. Sometimes it's hard to understand why a sorority didn't extend an invitation, but this doesn't mean you aren't "good enough" - it just wasn't a good fit. Even if you were to join at another time, with your current situation, you would just have more energy taken away with sorority activities and trying to fit into your new group than I think you and your gpa could handle. Please consider talking to an advisor or school counselor about the things you are going through.
